The title is a bit catchy?Isn't it?Lol... Its just for SEO. As the title says,this post is for those who want to decide between Android and Apple.Its a tough job really. The choice will depend on your usage and your sensitivity to security .Lets start by discussing every feature of Apple iOS.
1.Security-
Apple iOS is the most secure operating system available in the market.There are some virus(Heartbleed) and worms that have recently creeped in the Apple iOS but that is a rare phenomena. For most of the general purpose users ,there is no threat from any type of viruses or anything like that.
2.App store-
Personally i do feel Apple App Store is much more organised and clean then the Google Play Store.Apple had around twice the number of apps than Android till 2014.But Google Play Store crossed Apple in terms of number of apps in 2015. But still Apple has a reputation of more commercially rich and technically smart developers.
3.Sharing-
The way data is shared on iOS is one feature that makes it a wonder.Apple products do have a Bluetooth but only for connecting to headphone or any other hands free devices. iPhones can connect with other iPhones with the Airdrop feature of Apple.But it does follow a security protocols for making a connections. Files of a particular application stored on Apple device are not accessible by other applications.So in this way there is an encrypted place allocated by iOS to a file that could be accessed by only that application.
4.Updates-
Android devices are very choosy in case of updates. Rolling out of updates on Android device mostly depends on choice of manufacturer and extent to which the software is modified.Stock android phones gets the update more early then the rest.but that is not the case with the Apple iOS. Apple rolls out the software update for all at the same time with little changes as per the hardware model.
5.Hardware and Warranty-
Apple is known for its superb and rigid hardware all around.The accessories that Apple supplies with its product are also excellent. Apple headphones called Earpods are known for their bass and noise cancellation.And Apple is also known for the after sales service.They readily replace any defected product in no time and also have a quality management check for every product they create.Apple products come with a free one year warranty. The warranty can also be extended with a certain fees for three years.
My Verdict-
I have been using Apple iPhone 4S since 2013 and it was a delight.I never faced any issue with the phone ever .Even today it runs fine with no glitch . And one thing i can tell you certainly -
Apple is the most user friendly phone present in the market. Their hardware is amazing and build quality is up to the mark.One thong that i personally do not like about Apple is its pricing.They are bit overpriced in my opinion. Android phones have have become technically more advanced and cheap than Apple products in recent years.That may be a reason for a dramatic drop in sales of Apple products around the globe.
